1. What ASafetyNet Is
ASafetyNet is a private documentation and organization tool designed to help users record incidents, organize evidence, create safety plans, and prepare information that may be useful for advocates, attorneys, campus safety, law enforcement, or personal protection purposes.
ASafetyNet is not emergency services, legal advice, medical care, therapy, or law enforcement.
2. Eligibility
You may use ASafetyNet only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law.
If you use ASafetyNet on behalf of another person, organization, or entity, you represent that you have authority to do so.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use ASafetyNet only for lawful purposes
- Keep your device and account secure
- Protect your passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and other access credentials
- Review your own records before sharing or exporting them
- Use caution when storing sensitive or personal information
- Not misuse the app, harass others through the app, or use it to violate any law
You are responsible for the information you enter, store, export, or share.
4. Privacy and Data Control
ASafetyNet is designed to keep user-created documentation primarily on your device unless you choose to export, share, email, sync, or otherwise transmit it.
You control whether you use features such as AI, location, media attachments, QR sharing, or exports.

5. AI Features
If ASafetyNet includes AI-powered features, those tools may help summarize, organize, or structure information you provide.
AI outputs are for informational and organizational purposes only.
AI summaries may be incomplete, inaccurate, or may leave out important details.
You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before relying on it or sharing it.
ASafetyNet does not guarantee that AI output is correct, complete, or suitable for legal, medical, safety, or emergency decisions.
6. Emergency Disclaimer
ASafetyNet is not an emergency response service.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
ASafetyNet does not replace emergency services, law enforcement, medical care, counseling, legal advice, or professional advocacy support.
7. Sharing and Exporting
ASafetyNet may let you export reports, share files, create QR codes, or send information to other people or services.
You decide whether to share information and with whom.
Once information leaves ASafetyNet, we cannot control what other people or services do with it.
You are responsible for any sharing you initiate.
8. Subscription and Payments
If ASafetyNet offers paid plans, premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, those purchases may be processed through Apple or another payment provider made available in the app.
Prices, billing terms, renewals, and cancellation details will be presented at the time of purchase or in the app store listing, as applicable.
9. Intellectual Property
ASafetyNet, the ASafetyNet logo, app content, design elements, and related materials are owned by SafetyNet LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the app or its materials except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
10. User Content
You retain ownership of the information, records, files, and content you create in ASafetyNet, subject to any rights needed for us to provide the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, store, export, or share through the app.
11. Acceptable Use
You may not use ASafetyNet to:
- Break the law
- Harass, threaten, or abuse another person
- Interfere with the app's operation or security
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, devices, or data
- Upload malicious code
- Misrepresent the app as emergency dispatch, legal counsel, medical care, or therapy
12. Third-Party Services
ASafetyNet may rely on third-party services for hosting, app distribution, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, email, sharing, or payments.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services that are not under our control.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the app and the data handled through it.
No digital service can guarantee complete security.
You are responsible for using reasonable device security and for protecting information you choose to export or share.
14. Service Changes and Availability
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features of ASafetyNet at any time.
We may also change the app, these terms, or our policies when needed.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to ASafetyNet if we believe you have violated these terms, created a security risk, or used the app unlawfully.
You may stop using the app at any time.
16. Disclaimers
ASafetyNet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every situation.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SafetyNet LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
This includes damages related to data loss, unauthorized access, sharing decisions, service interruptions, or reliance on app content or AI output.
18. Indemnification
If your use of ASafetyNet causes harm, violates the law, or violates these terms, you agree to defend and hold harmless SafetyNet LLC from claims, losses, and expenses to the extent allowed by law.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
Continued use of ASafetyNet after changes means you accept the updated terms.
20. Governing Law
These terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
